Mental Wellbeing

Most surfers will tell you how imperative surfing is for their mental health. There's something about it that's hard to pin point or put into words but anecdotally it has a major positive impact on  our mental wellbeing. Luckily, there's tonnes of research coming out on the benefits of surfing and the results are incredibly encouraging. Whether you get something from the physical exercise, the mindfulness of being outdoors and having to concentrate on a task, or the satisfaction of achieving a skill you have worked hard on, we want to share our love for surfing with you.

University can hold the highest highs, but also the lowest lows. As recent graduates ourselves we want to offer students a positive outlet and escape from university lifestyle.

 

Piloting in September 2025 we're offering counsellor supported wellbeing surf sessions to students, who are either struggling with their mental health or just want to give their wellbeing a top up in the water.

We’d love to work with universities who want to signpost students to this opportunity or explore collaboration. From mental health services to student unions, this is a chance to champion real, practical wellbeing support with a difference.
